Student dies in freak accident

Jonathan Seenath, 11, of Maharaj Hill, Coalmine, died yesterday by what police say was a freak accident. His family left him at home around 8 pm Tuesday doing his homework. When they returned at about 8.40 pm, they found Jonathan with a piece of rope around his neck. He was rushed to the Sangre Grande Hospital where he later died. Jonathan was a Standard Four student at the Sangre Grande Hindu School. Sangre Grande police are continuing investigations.
