Delicia Pinard heads Methanex Public Affairs

Anthony Chan Tack, CEO Titan Methanol Company  and Gary Drefs, President, Atlas Methanol are pleased to announce the appointment of Delicia G Pinard to the position of Public Affairs Coordinator for Methanex in Trinidad. Pinard’s role will be focused on representing Methanex in the community. Pinard holds a BSc in Economics from The University of The West Indies and is completing her MBA. Prior to joining Methanex, Pinard was Caribbean Brand Manager for a worldwide beverage company and has held marketing management positions in the consumer products and liquor industries over the last decade.  

Methanex is the global leader in methanol.  The Titan facility at Point Lisas produces 850,000 tonnes of methanol a year. When commissioned, the Atlas Methanol plant will be the largest in the world and produce 1.7 million tonnes of methanol a year. The Atlas plant is a joint venture between Methanex (63.1 percent) and BP (36.9 percent).
