Diego man freed of kidnapping

A KIDNAPPING charge against a Diego Martin man was yesterday dismissed when the alleged victim decided she no longer wished to give evidence against him. Andre Ninvale was discharged by Justice Prakash Moosai after the State’s main witness told the court she had moved on with her life and did not want to relive the ordeal she had endured on December 21 2000. The young woman, who was 16 years old at the time, was allegedly abducted and taken to a house close to where Ninvale lived. Ninvale was represented by attorney Pamela Elder SC and Richard Mason. State attorney Debby-Ann Bassaw prosecuted.
