Guard shoots himself in the foot

POLICE are investigating the circumstances of a security guard accidently shooting himself in the foot, in order to determine whether they will lay charges against him. He was not precepted to carry a gun, but according to a report, the 38-year-old guard employed with a security company, had in his possession a Magnum pistol while on duty at the home of a contractor in Princes Town on Monday. According to a police report, the guard shot himself on the instep of the right foot around 10.15 pm.  The report also stated that the guard was immediately rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was treated and admitted.
