Cyclist killed in Cunupia

A 17-year-old  cyclist was killed after being struck by a car driven by his neighbour around 7.30 pm on Friday. Reports revealed that a 20-year-old man of Mon Plasir Road, Cunupia, was driving his car along  Endeavour Road, when he struck Jacob Charan, 17, who was riding along the road. Charan was taken to the Chaguanas Health Centre and transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he died. Officers of the Cunupia Police Station are investigating.
