UNC queries Landate probers

The Opposition UNC is unhappy with the persons the Government has chosen for the Commission of Inquiry into the Landate affair. The Government has asked both the Integrity Commission and a Commission of Inquiry to probe allegations that materials and manpower were improperly diverted from the construction site of Scarborough Hospital to the private Landate project of Minister of Housing, Dr Keith Rowley. Attorney General John Jeremie, on Friday in the House of Representatives, named the Commission of Inquiry as retired judge Annestine Sealey, engineer Chandrabhan Sharma, and architect Eustace Hobson.
