CUMUTO, VALSAYN SHARE LOTTO MILLIONS
At long last, two lucky people cracked Wednesday night’s Lotto Plus Jackpot of $12 million. Two persons matched five numbers with the powerball to win $5,828,402.60 each, with the winning numbers 11, 16, 20, 24, 26 and the powerball four. The winning tickets were bought at D&K Investments Limited, at Valpark Shopping Plaza, Valsayn, and at Elsie’s Recreation Club in Cumuto. The winning ticket in Valsayn was bought on Tuesday (November 16) at 10 am, and the ticket from Cumuto was purchased on Wednesday (November 17), at 6 pm.
Although no one has emerged to collect their winning prize, an official from the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB), told Newsday, the numbers were picked by the individuals themselves and were not Quick Picks. There was also lots of Lotto Plus luck for other players in TT as six players matched five numbers without the powerball, to win $7,183 each, 38 players matched four numbers and the powerball to win $864.22 each, 271 players matched four numbers without the powerball to win $234.79 each, 1,174 players matched three numbers and the powerball to win $17.48 each, and 9,530 players won two free Quick Picks for matching three numbers. This Saturday’s Jackpot is guaranteed at $1 million.
