President witnesses motorcycle cop crash

A motorcycle outrider attached to the President’s detail was injured while escorting his Excellency to President’s House around midday yesterday. Reports revealed that the outriders were escorting the President’s vehicle along Cipriani Boulevard, when one of the main motorcycle outriders attempted to get the driver of a security company car out of the way. The driver of the car reportedly ignored the instructions, causing another motorcycle outrider, PC Frankie Halls, to crash into three cars. He was thrown about 100 feet into the air and suffered broken limbs. PC Halls was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was treated and warded. The accident caused a bit of anxiety for President Maxwell Richards, who witnessed the incident.
