Something’s wrong in this country

THE EDITOR: We just came from a function at Sevilla Club, Brechin Castle. On our departure we noticed that a bush fire had set alight one of the buildings on the Caroni, Brechin Castle compound and was threatening another larger one. We called the emergency services from our cellular phone to report this and were told that we needed to contact the Couva Fire Services and then the emergency services person hung up. What’s really going on in this country? Need pictures of the burning building? I’ve captured it with my digital camera.
