Child stays with dead man

The body of a man who died on Friday at his Quarry Street, San Juan home was only discovered around 9:30 am by visiting relatives yesterday. Christopher Scott lived in the house with his four-year-old daughter, who investigators believe, was not aware that the man had died and remained in the house with him. Reports revealed that Scott, 37, a computer technician was last seen alive on Friday night.

When relatives did not see Scott yesterday they checked at the house and found his body. Checks by a doctor yesterday at the scene revealed that Scott may have died from heart failure. The  body was ordered to be  removed to the Forensic Science Centre where an autopsy will be carried out today. The child is now staying with relatives, who refused to comment on the matter late yesterday. Police do not suspect foul play. Cpl Ramjit of the San Juan Police is investigating.
