Two murdered in four hours

TWO MEN were murdered within four hours on Friday night. Dead are Ronald Morrison, 27, of Apartment R Building 54/56 George Street, Port-of-Spain and TT Regiment Private Andrew Haynes, 24, of Anturium Avenue, Macoya Gardens.

According to reports, at around 6.30 pm, Morrison, of George Street, was sitting in a chair outside a house on Clifton Street, Port-of-Spain, when a man came from behind the building, ordered him to lie on the ground and shot him in the head. Morrison was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he died. Police have no records on the father of two. Relatives described him as “cool” and are demanding justice. Besson Street police are investigating.
