Prize for best crime reducing plan

THE EDITOR: Since the former attorney general Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj made his crime proposal to reduce crime in Trinidad and Tobago the words crime plan are the talk on everyone’s lip. Though our present National Security Minister, Martin Joseph seems more confident on crime reduction, the security forces are working harder than before but it should be a joint effort with all citizens. Probably our present government should create a contest whereby citizens can submit the best crime reducing plan and win a prize.
