KUDOS TO LAVENTILLE RHYTHM SECTION

THE EDITOR:The "driving rhythms" (as described by a broadcaster on Channel 4 Saturday) that helped to support Trinidad and Tobago’s football team for fully ninety minutes and more in Panama were supplied neither by "Woodbrook Mordenaries" nor "Woodbrook Playboys" as mistakenly stated, but were, in fact, the patented sounds of the Laventille Rhythm Section, the resident rhythm section for both our team’s home and away games. We congratulate the national team on the Panama victory and urge Trinbagonanians in their thousands to come help us drive those rhythms during Wednesday’s crucial game against Mexico.
