We, the owners, therefore want to see the structural engineering report that recommend that the house be demolished. We, the owners, want to know who undertook that structural analysis on our house, who hired them, and how much they were paid to undertake such an exercise. We, the owners, want to see the design plans for our new house, we want to know who designed our new house, who hired them to design it and at what cost.

We, who pay your salary and upkeep, and who would have to find the money to pay the rent for your proposed accommodation at Federation Park, want to know what the rent would be and also who decided that Federation Park is the best temporary residence for you, all things considered. We, the people , do not believe in secrecy when it comes to spending our money on you, because we did not hire you as a secret agent. In closing, we, the people note the timing of the announcement of your multi-million dollar new housing arrangements: the same day one of us, a poor family who had made direct appeal to you for help in finding relief, was thrown out our humble home by a State agency, a home which was built at Blitz Village on lands that we, the people own.
