Red card for Warner
THE EDITOR: While I supported the Progressive in the UNC internal elections and I can empathise with Mr Jack Warner in his frustration at the vote recount for the post of deputy chairman I am disappointed in his reaction of washing dirty linen in public. Mr Warner is a man I greatly admire but he is being puerile in running to the media. The results are in and he should abide by the final result or at least take it up with the party’s executive and Mr Ganesh Ramdial. In football, if you show dissent against the referee you will get a card, so maybe Mr Warner deserves a red card for his childish reaction in this issue. PADMA GOBIN Chaguanas
