CEPEP — fake entrepreneurs

THE EDITOR: "Entrepreneurship" seems to be the new buzzword for politicians and other public officials in Trinidad. The dictionary meaning of an "entrepreneur" is "one who organises, operates and assumes the risk in a business venture in expectation of gaining the profit." Patrick Manning in his infinite wisdom states that CEPEP and URP workers are "entrepreneurs." Where is the organisation operation and assumption of risk, and where is the business aspect and profit in these projects. The true "entrepreneurs" are the businessmen whose major concern is the assumption of risk of being kidnapped by the "fake PNM entrepreneurs". Get your facts straight Patrick.
