Parents, show more concern
THE EDITOR: Kindly allow me space in your newspaper to compliment the principal and his wonderful staff of the ASJA Boys College in Charlieville and also the new executive of the PTA. This is the first time in three years that this school has a vibrant PTA to deal with the social issues in this school. However at a PTA meeting there were only 50 parents who showed up out of about 330. To all parents who have children attending ASJA Boys College, kindly show more concern towards the children and attend the next meeting. This is very important for the children’s future and also benefits the school in its development. The wonderful support given by the principal and his staff and the new PTA on October 3, 2005, has proved to me that the college would be the next top school in Central Trinidad. I therefore, humbly ask other parents to find more time to be more aware of the school’s function and contribution toward the children’s welfare. Once again, many thanks to the principal his staff and most of all the new PTA. TONEY BEEPAT Cunupia
