The Cat is back


The Cat has returned to Trinidad and Tobago after a five-month stint in Nova Scotia, Canada.


The vessel has been wet-leased by Government for US$24,500 daily.


On May 20, The Lynx was wet-leased for US$22,500 a day to replace the Cat. The charter for the Lynx was scheduled to be taken out of service on October 24, but was renewed.


The charter for the MV Sonia will not be renewed when it expires in December.


The Cat will sail at 6.30 am from Scarborough, and 4 pm from Port-of-Spain daily. The Panorama has been designated to handle cargo only, while the two fast-ferries will move passengers between Trinidad and Tobago.
