DIVALI AT COUVA NORTH
BASDEO PANDAY, Leader of the Opposition, and Member of Parliament for Couva North, lit the first deya for the 2005 Divali celebrations at the Couva North Constituency office yesterday. He urged his listeners to light a spark of divinity in their lives so that they would live upright lives and always show resilience to negative thoughts and behavioural patterns aimed at destroying the community and the country in which they live.
