Baptists need to unite

THE EDITOR: It would take 20 years before the Spiritual Baptists of Trinidad and Tobago become united.

It is my view that the leader of churches prefer to hold on to rule over their small churches than to become a mighty powerful spiritual body in this country to return morality to our people.

I will bet my last one hundred thousand dollars that you will only see an attempt to unify the church if another Government assumes power and decide to ban the Shouter Baptist from practising their religion again.

Why all of this rambling? Look at the response to the "Death March" held recently. The killings in our country will cease when its due course is completed. No amount of policing will stop it, but prayer can protect the innocent and the law-abiding. Pray, pray.
