Police puzzled over blazing cars

THREE cars found burnt at Duncan Trace, San Juan, are currently engaging the attention of the police.

According to reports, the three vehicles were discovered burning when the police arrived on the scene.

The cars were left at the bottom of the hill by residents who live at the top.

Police told Newsday they believe one car may have exploded and caused the other two to burst into flames.

Lucky resident Glen Thomas, who was watching the First Test between Australia and West Indies at the time of the incident, was able to save his car before it also caught fire.

Cpl Hosien of the San Juan Police Station is investigating.
