Two in court for murders
TWO men will appear at different courts tomorrow charged with separate murders. In the first instance, an 18-year-old of Ottawa Village, Mayaro, will appear before a Mayaro magistrate charged with the murder of 17-year-old Mark Lalloo. The Mafeking Village youth was fatally stabbed on Sunday morning during a fete over arguments about ugliness. In an unrelated matter, a 32-year-old Unemployment Relief Programme foreman of John John, Laventille, will appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate charged with the Independence Day murder of URP foreman Brian Kempkaran, 32, at Brian Lara Grounds, Sam Bocaud, Santa Cruz. Kempkaran was attending a "cooler fete" when he was killed.
