Silly children, foolish parents
THE EDITOR: It is utterly disappointing to see that many youths of Trinidad have taken it upon themselves to adapt the foolish practice of making prank bomb scares. With the recent bombings and increasing criminal activity in our country, it seems that many youths have formed a new trend to continue to cause confusion, frighten their peers and add to the havoc of this nation. It is sad however, to realise that these culprits find it fun and thrilling to interrupt peaceful environments, where people are going about their own way and cause total disarray in seconds. How is it possible then, for us to have a united, loving and peace-filled nation, where there are citizens like these youths populating our country? It appears that discipline, kind courtesy and respect for self and for others have been totally left behind. KAY-MARIE FLETCHER Port-of-Spain
