Chinese man shot in Laventille
A MAN of Chinese descent was shot at Lodge Place, Laventille, yesterday afternoon. According to reports, the man was walking near Lodge Place shortly after midday, when he was shot in the leg and hip by a gunman. The gunman opened fire at several men who were liming in the area. The man was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was treated and warded. The man is unable to speak English and is believed to be a traveller from a boat. Besson Street Police are continuing investigations.
