Consumers under postal services pressure

Aurel Placide complained to The People’s Hotline that he posted two registered documents to his son in Texas on October 4, but the letters were lost. He reported the incident to TTPost at Carlton Centre, San Fernandok, and was given a tracking number. He was assured that he would have been contacted, but has received no word from the postal service to this date.

In a similar case, Petra Prescott mailed an important document to the US on April 28 using TT Global Express International Courier Service. She said she paid $149.50 to post letters which never arrived at its destination. She was assured that she would have been compensated within three months, but has received no money to date.

Responding to Placid’s claim yesterday, TTPost customer service representative, Lilla Ogeerally, stated that an official probe has been launched in Texas to track Placid’s mail. She added that Prescott’s file will be taken up to the service’s accounts department in order to have a cheque prepared for her.
