I left PoS on Wednesday, reached Marabella Thursday
THE EDITOR: Why in 2005 a citizen leaving PoS at 3 pm on Wednesday arrives home in Marabella at 1 pm on Thursday? Where was the media? Where were the essential services? Police? Traffic regulators? Thinkers? Why are we surprised at floods? The Caroni River bursting its banks? Given all of the flooding conditions exist and indeed the Southbound lane of the highway was flooded could we not have had a better action plan to allow the flow of traffic? Guess not! Everything came to a standstill while plans were being made for the Soca Warriors arrival. Have the Government heard of multitasking? And by the way so-called planners, try waiting next time for the Soca Warriors to exit the plane next time before playing the National Anthem! Heheheheheheh. Only in this country yes. Vision 20/20!
