Trinity Cross for Jack
THE EDITOR: I wish to applaud the efforts of Mr Austin Jack Warner, FIFA Vice President. For over 32 years, Warner has dedicated his whole life to football. He has made tremendous sacrifices for this sport. His sustained efforts with the dream of Trinidad and Tobago playing in a World Cup finals has now become a reality. We recognise his efforts and congratulate him for putting our beloved country on the world map on a positive note. Despite his political affiliations, Warner has proven his dedicated loyalty to this country. For these reasons, the Government should award Warner the Trinity Cross, that is, the nation’s highest award. After all, we must give jack his jacket. AMAR SINGH Cunupia
