Into the promised land
THE EDITOR: I would like to take this opportunity to say congrats, to our Soca Warriors, Coach Beenhakker and Mr Austin Jack Warner, for a job well done. Our team displayed great discipline, determination and excellent team work amongst players. This victory reminded me about the story in the bible, when Jesus told Moses to take his people to the promised land, when Moses died Joshua led God’s people. In this case Mr Beenhakker led our team to the promised land after taking over from Bertille St Clair. He worked wonders, he took us from nothing and made us into a victorious team. With our footballers doing so well, will also encourage our West Indies cricket team to be revitalised. CANDICE MENDOZA Rousillac
