How pleasant is this ville?
THE EDITOR: I write to request on behalf of myself and the other residents of Aceras Circular, Orchid Gardens in Pleasantville. We were given keys to houses since July 2004 to which some of us are unable to occupy due to the fact that the road is pure mud. The area that is supposed to be the road is like a swamp when it rains. Some residents have to walk and drive through heavy mud puddles, made worse by contractor’s excavator and heavy trucks passing through and thereby breaking up the soil of the already unpaved road. Residents are making their monthly payments and yet, are unable to move into their homes. Children are forced to remain at home from school when it rains. Taxi drivers refuse to pick up residents because of muddy shoes, as a result we cannot go out when it rains. Please, I am appealing to the relevant authority to pave our road as soon as possible. This situation is frustrating. I am beginning to wonder — how pleasant is this ville! T MITCHELL San Fernando
