Move over Capt Cipriani for Lara

THE EDITOR: Permit me to endorse the sentiments expressed by I B Mark in the editor’s column of December 7, 2005 re-erecting a statue in honour of Brian Lara for his outstanding achievements in the cricketing world.

No greater tribute can be paid than removing Capt Cipriani from the Promenade and putting him in his rightful place which is Cipriani Boulevard. No disrespect meant, and replacing him with a great monument of our beloved B C Lara, not the Prince but the King par excellence of TT.
