Toco main road, road to hell
THE EDITOR: I feel that I am writing on behalf of all who use the Toco Main Road, and by extension from the Eastern Main Road, Valencia, through Valencia Old Road, then on to the entire Toco Main Road to Matelot Village. The persons in charge Mr Prime Minister, MP MR Ronald Boynes, Minister of Works and Transport, please begin to pave our roads now. Although it is said that the landslide walls are to be built before this is done, I want to agree. The pace of work on these walls is appalling, I don’t know what year will they be completed. The person in charge should come up and have a look for yourself, see if this is the way you wanted our tax dollars to be spent. Come please, it seems as though there are no checks and balances being done. While we are waiting, our vehicles are getting the full brunt of the dangerous potholes and depressions on our roads. Every month or sometimes before, we have to align our vehicles or purchase the same type of parts because its broken again. It pains me to drive on our Toco roads. Please remember that election is coming soon, let the people see that the government is doing something so that it can remain in power. M WATSON Toco
