More in mortar than pestle

THE EDITOR: I must say I am fed up with the lack of a clear way forward with respect to TTFF gaining support by the Government for the Soca Warriors World Cup campaign and I think it has a lot to do with Jack Warner’s double speak.

Why is Mr Warner saying on the one hand that it should give support by paying the coach and giving the players a minimum US$20,000 and a maximum of US$100,000. Warner has said he has completed a so-called budget for the Government in the sum of $40,000. What are you really saying Mr Warner. Do you want support or not? I think there is more in the mortar than in the pestle.
