Give us Nizam
THE EDITOR: This is a plea to the Political Leader of the United National Congress (UNC) the honourable Winston Dookeran, please let Nizam Mohammed contest the Tabaquite seat for the General Elections whenever it is being held. Nizam was undoubtedly the best MP who represented us in the past. I am certain that I am expressing the views of hundreds of voters in my constituency who do not want the present MP to contest the seat again. Unlike Nizam, we only see Dr Adesh Nanan at election time. Should he be chosen to contest again, I will not exercise my civic duty come election day. JAGOON HARRIPAUL Tabaquite
