Manning: A Dictator like Hugo Chavez
THE EDITOR: I have to say thank you for permitting Suz-anne Mills for her contribution to Manning’s doubting Thomases. I share her sentiments and credit her for enjoying the freedom of press. We the people ought not to let anyone just spend our money for their desires or aspirations. This is the kind of spirit we need to generate and demonstrate that the people across the board are ready to take on Manning head on. In my opinion, he wants to follow his good friend Hugo Chavez who now dominates the surrounding countries because of his money from gas and oil. While Hugo is buying and building new TV stations and stock piling an arsenal, Manning is hoping that the Red House, the White House and the courtyards and recreational grounds will all be named after him. Big mistake buddy, you are in for a surprise because the people are no longer asleep. (Both ethnic groups).
Without much censorship, the press is the best media to express our sentiments and our dissatisfaction with our government today and in the future. We no longer will postulate to Manning or any one of his jokers who have no intention whatsoever of saving our country from total destruction. The time has come for us to take back our country. Our displeasure and disgust have now overflowed and I urge every citizen (Blacks and Indians and Others) to join hands and come back together as we were before. They have set us against each other and they are the ones who have divided us. They have kicked us, neglected us, shunned us, spoken ill of us and have no love or compassion for us while we are the true custodians of this blessed land.
I say to you today fellow countrymen, the future of your survival lies in the depths of your conscience. You will soon have to make a major decision whether you want to listen to politicians or let your politicians listen to you by exercising suffrage for genuine leadership. Engaging in racial voting will ensure a continuous contribution towards destructions and malaise once more. Use your internal mechanism for rational and genuine decision making. Let us come back home as we were before. We must engage in reverence of respect and tolerance for each other as one nation to aspire together. We are one people and we must come back to the basics, let us not be judged by the colour of our skin but by the content of our character according to Dr Martin Luther King. Our problem is not politics, it is a nation divided by politicians and it has all the elements for mortal disaster. While there is life there is hope. May God bless our nation.
