Panday driving us from TT, not PNM
THE EDITOR: I see that the real Basdeo Panday has finally stepped forward once again! By firing Robin Montano, Panday has re-invented himself as a leader that has become cold, not by power, but by a total lack of the ability to hold on to power. To me, and I am sure to many other young people in this country, it proves how misleading our history is.
Panday’s strength never came from his ability to really lead, but from his preference to surround himself with weak and spineless men and women who would only preach the gospel according to Bas! More than that, it proves that Panday has no interest whatsoever in unity and in associating himself with persons with intellectual strength and backbone. It scares him. But what do I have to be concerned about? We are migrating soon and on this score, I wish for the public to know that it was Panday who drove us from Trinidad, not the PNM.
