Dookeran gave an honest speech
The Editor: I read Winston Dookeran’s speech that was printed in the papers recently and found it to be quite refreshing in terms of its straightforwardness. Many have come to view the politics in this land as mamaguy and deceit so when frankness and principle shows its face it gets ridicule, indifference and boos. Hats off to Mr Dookeran for taking this stance within the UNC. Time can only tell where he and the party goes from here but I believe anyone with eyes will see who blows to and fro in the wind and who is firmly rooted for progress.
