The ‘Kiss’ of the season

Kiss the Girl and Make Her... is the complete and well-balanced theatrical package, offering elements of comedy mixed in with the serious issues of crime and familial disfunctionality of today.

The production is a captivating thriller-comedy which centres around the murder of a teenage girl, Amanda. Her neighbour, a teenage boy named Allan, played by Fareid Carvalho, becomes the prime suspect, when it is discovered that he was last seen with her. What is revealed along the way of investigating the murder, is the volatile stage of relations among Allan’s parents — Barry and Janice played by Raymond Choo Kong and Karla Gonzales — and their friends, a married couple — Ron and Pauline, played by Conrad Parris and Debra Boucaud Mason.

The investigating officer is played by a menacing Kurtis Gross, whose methods of extracting information from the suspect puts new meaning to the words “police brutality.” Deceit and treachery abound throughout this play which keeps audiences guessing up to the explosive climax!

Actress Debra Boucaud Mason, delivers with subtlety and grace, the scatter-brained Pauline. Conrad Parris and Karla Gonzales are powerful in their executions as the adulterous pair.

The play continues at Central Bank Auditorium until Sunday. Showtimes are 8.30 pm and Sunday matinees at 5.30 pm.

Ticket and other information are available at the Central Bank Box Office. Security for parking available.
