Teens accused of sex assault

In the past two weeks, Maraval police have received reports of children being involved in sexual misconduct with other minors.

In one case, a 15-year-old boy was being questioned about an incident involving his six-year-old neighbour. And a 14-year-old was being investigated for the alleged sexual molestation of a four-year-old boy. The police sought the DPP’s advice on whether the two teenage boys should be charged, since in both cases, they too are minors.

The families of the victims are calling for swift justice.
