US Embassy tying me up
Now, after being refused, I was given a letter by the Consular Officer showing the reason visa applications are refused and after reading it I was so confused I went back twice to have it explained, but to no avail.
I have been and still employed at one arm in the Ministry of National Security for the last 10 years, married four years, a substantial savings account and I produced the required documents but was told I don’t have “ties eg: a stable job, savings, family (children) so I can’t get a visa”.
If ten years is not stable then what is? Now if that is the required “ties” as they call it, how come a family friend of mine employed in the same place for “four years, not married, no serious savings, children, house, dogs, cats or fishes got a five years visa”. I’m confused.
I believe the Embassy needs to review the actions of their officers or their policy because money doesn’t grow on trees and I work very hard for mine. Someone needs to look into this situation because I was not the first to go through this and I am sure I would not be the last.
