All clubs in the association have been asked to parade with no fewer than 11 or more than 18 members led by a queen. Taking the salute at the march past of teams which is to begin at 2 pm will Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation president Oliver Camps, EFA president Lennox Watson and Emerald Chief Executive Officer Darryl Warner.
And following a welcome address by Watson, Warner will declare the new season open.
This will be followed by a T&T Pro League game between Joe Public and W Connection scheduled to kick off at 3.30 pm.
At the march past parade, the Best Queen will earn a dinner voucher for two at House of Chan Restaurant, Emeralds Apartments and Plaza, Eastern Main Road, St Augustine.
The club adjudged to be best on parade will get a challenge trophy, while there will be a challenge trophy to the winner of the pro league match along with 23 gold medals and 23 silver to the runners-up.
House of Dread will defend the league title while Joe Public are the defending knockout winners.
