Fire damages TTEC sub-station

A release from TTEC stated that damage incurred to the sub-station resulted in temporary disruptions in the electricity supply to customers along Western Main Road, Carenage, as far west as the Tembladora area.

Areas affected include Pt Cumana, Westmoorings by the Sea, Carenage including Smith Hill, Sea View Gardens, La Horquetta, Goodwood Park, Shorelands, Glencoe and environs. TTEC officials confirmed that a 12KV board was destroyed in the fire, but no one was injured.

Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
