Three face murder charge

According to police, the killing of Deonarine, 76, proprietor of Archie’s White Gate, situated along Tabaquite Main Road, Rio Claro, had been planned.

The female suspect, who is a close relative of the deceased, was detained on Tuesday shortly after witnessing the post-mortem conducted on Deonarine’s body at the Forensic Science Centre.

The two male suspects — aged 22 and 23 — were picked up by police the next day.

Deonarine was found bludgeoned to death behind his home and businessplace on Monday evening. A bloody shovel found nearby was seized by police.
