Allard back on the job

Allard told Newsday on Thursday he has been back on duty for the past two weeks and is “doing well.”

The top policeman confirmed he was forced to seek medical attention in the United States in January for a heart condition. Allard has been acting DCP since July 15, 2004. “I am doing well and I have been here working for the past two weeks,” DCP Allard told Newsday.
