Children’s art classes resume

The classes, which will be held in the new Art Education Facility at CCA7, are designed for six to 12-year-olds to develop creative expression while exploring a range of materials.

Children will be exposed to the elements of art (including line, shape, colour and texture), and the design principles and techniques, while being introduced to works of art and craft from around the world.

Classes will be held on Saturdays from 10 am to 11.45 am for children six to nine years old and 12.15 pm to 2 pm for those ten to 13 years old.

The classes will be held for ten weeks.

The children attending will also have the opportunity to be exposed to the local and international artists in residence and CCA exhibitions at CCA7, Building 7, Fernandes Industrial Centre, Eastern Main Road, Laventille.
