‘Ingrid’s Story’on AIDS

Each year, the president in office would sponsor a project, based on a theme that matches the needs of communities and by extension, the country.

In fact, the projects are aimed at enhancing the lives of children in the main.

This year the president of Petit Juan Lions, Glenda Nicholas has chosen as her theme: HIV AIDS education and services, geared towards tomorrow’s youth”.

She will host a function at the La Hoya Auditorium at St Joseph on two consecutive days — May 24 and 25 with two sessions each day.

To this effect, Nicholas and her committee have decided to present a skit, titled Ingrid’s Story.

It tells the story of how AIDS can destroy one’s life.

The skit was adapted with the blessing of the National Aids Foundation.

Admission is free and Petit Juan Lions expects a packed auditorium.
