ASPIRE TO KILL

Why do they aspire to kill me

I am just a foetus in a girl’s cavity

I have done harm to no one

All I want is to be born

So I can live and serve humanity

While pursuing my life destiny

My place in this world they seek to deny me

For the love of the thing called money

Why do they aspire to murder me

I am just a child in a child’s tummy

My life they crave to take away

So some doctors could get more pay

My mother they want to pass through their

clinic doors

But don’t want her parents to know for what

the cause.

A crime they harken to commit

And didn’t want to be incarcerate

Why do they aspire to exterminate me

I am just a fragile unborn baby

You can hear my heartbeat

And feel the gentle patter of my feet

For nine long months I live inside her

Now my life they seek to expire

For capital punishment they are against

But to slay an innocent babe they scurry with

haste.
