Johnson’s CD in honour of mom

“I composed the song because of how my mother Agnes brought up all six of us so, Mothers We Honour You is in memory of her and it also honours all of the other mothers in the world.”

He continued, “I wanted to release the CD last year but Mommy got sick and died in December 2005. She was 76-years-old. My 79-year-old father, Colly Johnson, is alive and lives in Sangre Grande.”

Leston Paul arranged and played lead piano on the CD with Johnson producing and doing the lead vocals on it.

Johnson, whose been composing and singing for 25 years also released a gospel CD early last year.
