UNC Busy opposing itself

The tragic part of the scenario is the way in which the party that is supposed to ensure that the government of the day is in check, seems to not even be able to see past its own misadventure, and misrepresentation of its own misfortune. How tragic! The opposition is so busy opposing its own self, that it has forgotten that it was placed there by a mass of votes to ensure that it represented people‘s views and opinions with some level of authority, honesty and dignity. How tragic!

The supposed leaders within the opposition are now so concerned with their own little attempts at power grabbing, that they have now lost all ethical values, meanings and virtues.

How do you view a man or men, for that matter, who side with one person, ill-speak the person they oppose to the fault, then within one day, they side with the said person they totally demeaned, and then bite the person for whom they first supported? How tragic!

Thankfully, there are a few who provide some measure of sanity in this tragedy. I have followed with great interest the very powerful stances made by Captain Gary Griffith, a UNC executive member, who speaks, not from a position of guile, misinformation, and ill advised emotion, but from a position of passion for country, passion for what’s right, and passion for respect, dignity and solidarity for all. He represents what, I voted for when I voted for the UNC, conviction, passion and working to achieve a certain mission. Not bad talk, bacchanal, and backstabbing!

Captain Griffith, this is an open letter to you, please I implore you, do not fall prey to what seems to now be the setting sun. We need people like you to ensure that the sun rises, and hopefully someday really begins to shine.
