President of PPRC, Leeton Allert told Newsday that the Government promised to pay over $28,000,000 to the 1,000 workers at the Port Authority, since mid-March, this year. “It was approved by Cabinet and we are still waiting for the money,” Allert said.

The ex-Gratia Award extends from the pay period of January 2001 to December 31, 2005.
