UWI students disrespecting landlord

There is no Christian respect for neighbours and for children living on the premises or in the neighbourhood. They do not respect other students. What students are not allowed to do in their parents’ home are done without respect in the private homes of elderly landlords trying to make a respectful living.

Some parents may be blinded and fooled by their convincing children but God is not blind.

Noise making and the damaging of landlords’ furniture, appliances and property are done without concern and care that many landlords are old and ailing retirees living on small outdated pensions. They do not get the large $10,000 a month salaries that many boasting UWI graduates get in their first job.

Everyone knows that the last week of classes at UWI is when students may “leggo” and their true qualities and personality come out and they take advantage of their old landlord’s residence.

The solution is UWI should update their housing database to list landlords who allow opposite sex visits on their premises. Students who have this specific need during their studies at UWI will then go to the correct homes with no future conflict.
